Abstrakt

Od połowy XX w. Stany Zjednoczone, podobnie jak wiele krajóweuropejskich, są świadkiem dramatycznych zmian w życiu rodzinnym,co skutkuje wyjątkowo niskimi wskaźnikami zawieranych małżeństwi urodzeń, a także wysokimi wskaźnikami rozwodów, konkubinatówi urodzeń pozamałżeńskich. Aby zrozumieć te zmiany, artykuł przed-stawia na przykładzie literatury, ideologie, trendy filozoficzne i opi-nie intelektualne, które w sposób szczególnie destrukcyjny wpłynęłyna współczesny stan rodziny.
